We are a 360 degree marketing communications agency focusing on unconventional story-telling based on cause and content. We have always looked at creating meaning by tapping levers that customers will tune into. Most of our solutions have revolved around storytelling through content, although we haven't restricted ourselves to it. We also look for opportunities to create Intellectual Properties out of our work, which gives a longer shelf life to client work.
We began our journey from the ashes of
We began our journey from the ashes of a dotcom way back in 2001. We then continued as a boutique Above-the- Line agency starting with mid-sized brands like Welingkar Business School, Center One Mall, Sumaria, Mastek, Dosa Plaza amongst many others. We then moved over to larger brands like Zapak Gaming,ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, Diageo, HSBC and many others.
Stronger relationships with clients encouraged us for a higher share of wallet and we branched out into Films, Activation and Digital. For Diageo, for instance we moved from being just a design agency to being one of their main Activation partners. We handled nationwide activation mandates for brands like Vat69, Reserve Brands, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Shark Tooth and Rowsons Reserve. At this juncture, we realized that we while we were actively serving diverse requirements of these larger brands, we were still not integrating it as a 360 strategy. That was the year, we shifted gears and started approaching brands for 360 mandates since we were implementing the various legs of the strategy anyway.
We got our first opportunity in creating Vixture - the largest gaming property in the country for Zero Friction. We handled the strategy, advertising, digital marketing and activation in gameplexes. Vixture was a successful case study, and we managed to get participation from over 450 teams for the event alongwith endoresements from BBC.
Our next big challenge was to implement a 360 activation for the launch of Skoda Yeti. Strategized by Mediacom, we successfully conducted the activation in 5 wildlife national parks of the country, handled content creation and photography which made the Skoda Yeti annual Calendar. The campaign won Mediacom the integrated campaign award from NDTV and a silver at the Abby.
Having tasted the thrill of 360, we started looking at similar challenges and we got challenged by Cox and Kings for creating a fresh brand for them in the regional market in Maharashtra. We were thereby asked to take an unconventional route rather than traditional advertising. We ended creating a rocking brand over the next 4 years through the route of Branded television, Theatre, PR and activation. Click here to get the full case study.
Meanwhile, a small meeting led to a unique mandate to market a book - this time, for author Amish Tripathi. We did a first by creating movie-like trailers, 300-style for 'The Secret of the Nagas'. The tremendous success of this campaign got the whole publishing industry to work with us over the next few years for all their best authors. We produced record-breaking campaigns for Amish's next books, and also created memorable campaigns for other authors like Ravi Subramanian, Ravinder Singh, Ashwin Sanghi, Sangeeta Mall amongst many others. about our work for Amish Tripathi. We got encouraged to create our own literarature We have now taken our literature journey to the next level by spotting a gap in the Childrens Literature Space and created Enchantico - the first book subscription service for children in India. With other clients we created an innovative Activation Program for IndiaFirst to penetrate schools and created a book on Social Change as an IP. Click here to know more.
We changed the product when we were not happy with it for Tridhaatu - a real estate brand. Click here for the case study. We took Storytelling to the next level and got into producing feature films and began our journey with 'Cycle' a feel good film in Marathi. Cycle is now complete as a film and has won several awards including a state award, a national award and became Maharashtra States selection for the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. We aim to take our eco-system of books, music, movies and story-telling to tell stories in a language that consumers relate to. We love the challenge of a difficult brief because isn't that the fabric of a great story ?
